Five Nights at Freddy's (FNaF Game) is an American media franchise. Scott Cawthon is the creator. The first game of the same name was released on August 8, 2014, and the resultant series has since become popular globally.
The main series consists of nine survival horror video games connected to a fictional family pizza restaurant franchise, its name was "Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza". After its mascot, the animatronic bear Freddy Fazbear. In most games, the player assumes the role of a night-time employee. That is who must utilize tools such as security cameras, lights, doors, and vents. The series' lore is gradually revealed through voice recordings, minigames, and Easter eggs featured throughout the games.
The franchise also includes spin-off games and other media, such as a novel trilogy and an anthology series, comprising an all-encompassing fictional universe. The franchise maintains an active fanbase, famous for its production of fan art and fangames, and merchandise for the games is available internationally.
The 5 characters in Five Nights at Freddy's that people love are Freddy Fazbear, Bonnie the Bunny, Chica the Chicken, Foxy the Pirate, and Golden Freddy.
Freddy Fazbear is the lead singer and main animatronic in the game. He is often seen as the most popular and iconic character due to his presence in the game's marketing and merchandise. Freddy's backstory reveals that he was programmed to be a friendly and entertaining children's mascot, but he was also designed with a darker purpose - to capture and murder children.
Bonnie the Bunny is a guitarist in the game and is often seen as the second most popular character. His backstory reveals that he was once a normal animatronic programmed to play music and entertain children until he was reprogrammed to capture and murder children.
Chica the Chicken is the game's drummer and a fan favorite. Her backstory reveals that she was also programmed to be a friendly children's mascot but was later reprogrammed to capture and murder children.
Foxy the Pirate is a more complex character in the game, as he is depicted as both a villain and a hero. He is a pirate-themed animatronic programmed to entertain children with his pirate antics, but he also has a dark side and is known for attacking players in the game. Foxy's backstory reveals that he was once a popular and beloved character but was later replaced by a newer model, leading him to become resentful and violent.
Golden Freddy is a mysterious and elusive character in the game who appears only under certain circumstances. His backstory is unclear, but he is believed to be a ghostly presence haunting the animatronics and the game's location.
Overall, the appeal of these characters lies in their dark and sinister backstories, which add depth and complexity to their otherwise cute and friendly appearances. The game's lore and storyline have also played a significant role in creating a devoted fanbase for the franchise.
The animatronic characters are usually during the day, but their behavior becomes unpredictable at night. They could catch you anytime if you are caught off guard. Make sure that you carefully monitor the security cameras positioned throughout the restaurant to observe the animatronic characters from your small office. If anything's wrong, namely that if Freddy Fazbear and his mates aren't in the right place, you have to find them on the screens. If not, hide immediately.
Besides that, the energy source you can use every night is limited. If you run out of power for the evening, there will be no safety doors and no lights anymore. As a result, you can be caught by Freddy. Let's use power sparingly to protect ourselves!
Transforming into a security guard and saving your life. Try not to be frightened by the odd actions of the animatronic characters in this game.
These are some main series of the game.

In June 2017, Cawthon hinted at the development of a sixth main game in the series. On July 2, 2017, he announced his decision to cancel the game. On December 4, 2017, Cawthon released Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator as freeware on Steam. The game is a business-simulation game in which the player runs a pizzeria.
The game's story again follows Michael Afton. The game has multiple endings depending on how well the player runs the pizzeria and whether they salvaged all the animatronics. However, the canon ending has Cassette Man reveal himself as Henry Emily, William's former business partner and the father of Charlotte. And set the restaurant on fire after revealing its true purpose as a trap to lure in the remaining animatronics. The restaurant burns to the ground, seemingly killing Michael, Henry, and all the animatronics, finally releasing the spirits haunting them.
Main article: Ultimate Custom Night - FNaF Ultimate Custom Night
Ultimate Custom Night was originally intended to be a post-launch add-on to Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator. But it eventually turned into a stand-alone game, released on June 27, 2018. The customizable night contains a total of fifty animatronics from previous games. This allows the player to determine how aggressive they are during the night (similar to the custom nights in earlier games). The player can select the office in which 16 themed game modes are available. It has been heavily speculated that the game takes place in some version of Hell or Purgatory.
However, the anthology novel series Fazbear Frights implies that the game is Afton's repeating nightmare, and not hell or purgatory. This comes from the fifth book, Bunny Call, which has a story called "The Man in Room 1280". In the following book, Blackbird, the epilogue confirms that the man is William Afton. Although it was never confirmed whether the Fazbear Frights series is canon, Cawthon confirmed that it's supposed to reveal mysteries from the previous games.

On August 8, 2019, on the first game's fifth anniversary, Cawthon posted a new image on his website, teasing the next installment of the series. It shows a "Mega Pizza Plex" containing a laser tag arena, an arcade, a large cinema, and a Freddy Fazbear's Pizza restaurant. On April 21, 2020, somebody leaked the characters' names from Funko's list of upcoming products, and the title was Five Nights at Freddy's: Pizza Plex. Listening to the phone: In the latest nights, the Phone Guy's messages will be shorter. The Phone Guy recorded his last message on the fourth night. Check his phone to find clues
Using power sparingly: Save your power because there is a limited power supply for every night. You don't want to be caught by Freddy when you run out of electricity, right?
The third night: Be very careful from the third night on. The animatronics will be more active on the third evening.
Following the animatronics' behavior: There are five animatronic characters, including Chica the Fox, Foxy the Pirate Fox, Golden Freddy, and Bonnie the Bunny.
Being prepared for the fifth night: The telephone guy won't have a message that evening for you so you're all alone. The animatronic characters are as busy as ever, as this is the last night for them to catch you.
Trying your best: Be prepared if this is your first time. It's a bit odd and frightful at Freddy's house in five nights. Prepare for stuff like jumping cars, animatronics, and much more, not just for the fifth night.
